Proposals for Mount Pleasant
Postmark is unfolding in four phases over 6.25 acres. It is divided into two distinctive chapters, each identified by the individual postcode in which it lies – WC1 and EC1. When completed in 2024, this major mixed-use development will offer over 650 new homes and over 20,000 sq. ft of commercial and retail space, set within new public open space that covers over 50% of the site.

What’s proposed?
The Royal Mail Group received permission to redevelop its sorting office at Mount Pleasant in 2015. In addition to the work taking place on the sorting office itself, the planning permission includes the development of part of the site for a range of uses such as new homes, commercial and retail units as well as new public open space. Taylor Wimpey Central London is now bringing forward this vision as the Postmark project.
The planning permission grants consent for 681 new homes, as well as variety of other uses.
